Mark Philippoussis has rocketed back to form with his first title in 3 years winning the Hall of Fame Championships in Newport where he defeated Justin Gimelstob in the final.

Marcos Baghdatis backed up his great performance at the 2006 Australian Open where he was a finalist by reaching the semi finals of Wimbledon. Along the way he defeated many great players including Lleyton Hewitt.
